The Behavioral Health Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are designed to treat adult and adolescent mental health and substance abuse issues in the least restrictive setting possible.
The IOP offers the right level of treatment for patients who are not progressing in traditional outpatient programs and do not need a higher level of care, like hospitalization.
Intensive Outpatient Programs are small-group, mental health or substance abuse educational and process counseling sessions held for three hours, 3-days per week. The program licensed clinical staff provide the support to help create change in your thoughts and behaviors, learn problem-solving skills, and establish and maintain a healthy support network. The IOPs offer a friendly, relaxed, comfortable and no pressure environment that is a key success in therapy.
All IOP programs are designed to give both adult and adolescent clients the opportunity to participate in treatment while still going to work or school and maintain other day-to-day responsibilities. Most working adults qualify for family medical leave of absence (FMLA) from work. The program clinical staff are trained in assisting with FMLA and disability paperwork among your employer, human resources, EAP’s and other authorized personnel.
