The Resource Center works towards removing the stigma over mental health by promoting and facilitating education excellence.
Although open discussions on physical problems are normal, most people do not talk about mental health issues with family, friends, or co-workers. Simply, many people are either unaware, too embarrassed or ashamed to talk about their mental health issues. A large reason a stigma exist.
Our Training Programs and Workshops help remove the mental health stigma while building healthier families, compassionate workplace relationships and stronger communities through our evidenced-based trainings and on-going educational events.
We offer, sponsor and help organize mental health related educational events in our new 20,000 square foot Community Center. These can include single or multi-day trainings, brown bags, seminars, workshops or facilitated discussions for individuals, organizations, schools and community groups. Continuing education (CEU’s) credits are provided when applicable.
Let us help plan your next mental health training or check out the events calendar for upcoming educational events.
