Who is at risk to get an STD

If you're having unprotected sex, you are at risk of getting a sexually transmitted disease. There are many different types of STDs, all with their own symptoms and signs - and many show no symptoms at all. That's why it's important to be tested regularly for STD infections if you have unprotected sex, especially if you have many partners.

STD Testing

Nelson-Tebedo Health Resource Center offers low-cost STD screening, treatment/medication, prevention counseling and follow-up. We offer testing and treatment of the following STD's.

Gonorrhea / Chlamydia
Screening and/or testing $35. Treatment, if required $25

Herpes
Screening and presumptive testing $80. Treatment not offered. Please see your primary care physician or other health care provider if your presumptive test is positive.

HPV (Human papillomavirus)
Nelson-Tebedo Health Resource Center does not test or treat HPV. Please make an appointment with your primary care physician.
