Well then don’t miss the Jewel LesFic Book Club on Wednesday August 11, 2010 from 6:30 to 8:30p.m. Kim Baldwin will be joining us by webcam to discuss her book Hunter's Pursuit. Don’t want to wait for the book to ship? Stop by Borders on McKinney Ave. and pick up a copy of the book (with a 10% discount thanks to their wonderful sponsorship), come hear what others thought and tell us what you thought. If you haven't read the book, please come too – the more the merrier. The Jewel LesFic Book Club meets every second Wednesday of the month, so come make friends and then return to catch up.
 
Then the following Wednesday, August 18th from 6:30 to 8:30p.m., we are concluding our writing swap. For the last two months, we have exchanged our writing with other members of the group and then discussed the writing the following month. This month we will be discussing the work that was exchanged in July. If you missed out and want to check out your fellow member’s writing or share some of your own, then please attend as well.

All meetings will be at Illume on the corner of Cedar Springs and Knight. There is parking across the street at the Bank of America.

Jewel Book Club –

Jewel Lesbian Fiction Book Club, meets every second Wednesday with a new and exciting author and book. Our meetings are from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m in the Great Room at Ilume on the corner of Cedar Springs and Knight.
