Information & Referral

The information and referral (I&R) program has been a major function of the Center since its founding in 1983. The program provides information and referrals for health and human services, such as food, employment, shelter and medical care, particularly HIV medical needs.

The Center began the I&R program in response to the AIDS crisis to help disseminate accurate information to the public, and since that time it has served a critical need for the North Texas community, assisting more than 30,000 people each year. Services can be accessed by calling or coming to the Center in-person and requesting information.
